One of the key requirements for compliance with PCI DSS (the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is that organizations block all non-approved channels of communication, screen all traffic and prohibit direct routes for inbound and outbound internet traffic. IM Still Red Hot
It may look as though the IM market cooled off a bit in 2008 at first glance, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The experts agree, and the awards keep rolling in!
"You will be hard-pushed to find a security appliance that can offer the same level of controls over IM and P2P and combine these with excellent web content filtering and spyware protection,"
