NEW BOTNETS USE IM TO STEAL INFORMATION FROM ONLINE SHOPPERS AND PAYPAL CUSTOMERS
Acting on an anonymous tip, FaceTime researchers have uncovered two "botnet" networks that collectively represent up to 150,000 compromised computers, one of which is being used as a vehicle to fraudulently scan desktop and back-end systems to obtain credit card numbers, bank accounts, and personal information including log-ins and passwords.

UK FIRMS UNDER FIRE FOR IGNORING POLICY
Checking your e-mail at work again? You're not the only one. Personal email (such as Hotmail and Gmail) was found to be used by more than 61 percent of respondents at work, while 41 percent admitted to using instant messaging applications such as Microsoft Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger to communicate with friends and family.
